MY STORY AND THE BIRTH OF MY SECOND CHANCE

Right at the mid point of my life, standing 15,000 feet high in the Himalayas during the Annapurna Trek, I found myself at a crossroad. Just months earlier, I had made some of the hardest decisions of my life. After decades of living according to expectations that weren't truly my own, I had finally begun breaking free from the mental bondages that had shaped much of my journey. As the sun set behind the mountains, I realized that a chapter of my life was ending.

For years, I had measured my worth through the happiness of others. I wanted to be the perfect daughter, the perfect wife, and the best mother I could be. In trying so hard to fulfill those roles, I had lost sight of myself. But surrounded by the majesty of the Himalayas, something shifted.

For the first time, I chose myself. In God's creation, I saw my own reflection. I saw beauty, resilience, and possibility. I realized that if I was part of that creation, then perhaps I too was worthy of love, care, and belonging. I didn't know what came next. I only knew there was no going back. During that journey, my son asked me to bring home a special pendant. While searching for stones from the Kali Valley, I found something unexpected: a symbol of my own rebirth. And the idea for my business, Antiquity Soul Pendants was born.

Months later, on July 3, 2024, I moved into a new home with my children. It was also the anniversary of my father's passing. I felt his presence strongly that day. What was dying inside me was no longer hope. It was victimhood. I realized how much of my life had been spent believing that pain, disappointment, and self-sacrifice were simply part of being a good person. Choosing myself felt unfamiliar. But it was necessary. That decision changed everything. I began building Antiquity from the ground up, creating pieces inspired by nature, resilience, and second chances. The stones became a reminder of what I had discovered in the mountains: that healing begins the moment we remember our own worth.

But another realization emerged from that journey. I knew how painful loneliness could be. I knew what it felt like to navigate difficult chapters without the support, guidance, and community we all deserve. That understanding led to the creation of the Arcadian Circle. The Arcadian Circle was born from a simple belief: no one should have to walk through life alone. Through gatherings, conversations, workshops, and shared experiences, the Arcadian Circle aims to help rebuild something many of us have lost — a sense of belonging. A village. A place where people can encourage one another, learn from one another, and remember their own value.

My journey began in the Himalayas, but it continues every day through The Arcadian House. If there is one thing I have learned, and want to pass on, it is this: You are worthy. You always were.
